Cookies is a global cannabis brand founded by Gilbert Milam Jr. (better known as Berner) and legendary underground cultivator Jai. Initially renowned for its unique marijuana strain but having since evolved into a cultural lifestyle enterprise encompassing the worlds of fashion, music, and sports. While Berner has stated he retains a majority stake in the company, several investment firms and partners like Entourage Effect Capital, 12/12 Ventures, Gron Ventures, Red Tech Holdings and TAM Ventures & Mesh Ventures are behind the brand's expansion.

Rather than fully owning every cultivation facility and storefront, Cookies expanded rapidly using an "asset-light" licensing and franchise model. The brand boasts more than 70 retail dispensary locations across the United States and international markets like Canada, Israel, Jamaica, and Thailand.

Cookies built its initial empire on cannabis strains. The brand is credited with popularizing several of the most famous cultivars in modern cannabis culture, including:
