NECANN Convention and Cup

Founded in 2014, NECANN was created to serve as a comprehensive business-to-business (B2B) hub and resource network for local cannabis markets. Rather than hosting generic national roadshows, it focuses heavily on a hyper-local strategy, customizing each convention to the specific laws, regulations, and market trends of the host state.

Its flagship event in Boston is the largest cannabis convention on the East Coast and the second largest in the United States. Over the years, the series has expanded well beyond New England, hosting annual conventions in states like New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Maryland.

The events bring together thousands of industry professionals, including growers, dispensary owners, investors, entrepreneurs, medical patients, and advocacy groups.

In addition to educational panels and product exhibitions, the organization hosts the NECANN Cup, a highly respected, blind-judged local competition that awards top-quality flower, concentrates, and edibles.
