Cultiva Hemp Expo

The event debuted in 2008 at the Eventpyramide in Vösendorf. It initially hosted only 80 exhibitors to a highly skeptical audience. It has since grown into one of Europe's largest, most elegant hemp tradeshows. In recent years, it relocated permanently to the historic Marx Halle in Vienna, utilizing up to 10,000 square meters of exhibition space. In 2026, the brand expanded internationally by hosting its first regional spin-off, the Cultiva Sommerfest, at the Motorworld in Munich, Germany.

The Trade Fair (Expo) features over 120 to 180 international exhibitors (2026). Prominent seed banks and lifestyle accessory brands showcase everything from extraction technology and raw industrial hemp materials to CBD cosmetics, botanical grow setups, and smoking paraphernalia.

The Cultiva Hemp Congress is a high-level scientific and legal symposium running alongside the exhibition. International doctors, researchers, policymakers, and lawyers host panels detailing breakthrough medical research, international trade compliance, and legal overviews—such as navigating EU novel food laws or the ripple effects of Germany's partial cannabis legalization.

The Festival & Cultural Program is designed to entertain consumer attendees. The outdoor and indoor public zones feature glass-blowing performances, joint-rolling contests, live musical acts, home-cultivation workshops, and a large street food market. It also hosts the Cultiva Cup, which evaluates and awards the year's top botanical varieties.
