Add/Edit an Ingredient
Info:
- To add a new ingredient to the list
- ...add minimum a name and an amount for it, the rest is optional!
- You are able to search
- in the product-database for food-products in order to pre-fill known nutrition values and densities.
- If you are an logged in user
- you also can pre-select all products from previously saved recipes/compositions!
- If you add the density of ingredients
- then you also can show and sum the volumes in all units - and you are able to insert properties per volume also!
- To find out the density of something (like Butter, for example), search in our nutrition database or ask google for something like: What is the amount of Butter in grams per milliliter? Then input that amount here!
- If you want to track cannabinoid amounts...
- ...then you have two options!
- 1st) Add an infused product, for example "Infused Butter" and add the amount of cannabinoids per gram or percent of that butter. We will track the amount of "Infused Butter" then for the ingredients and show the THC as active ingredient seperately.
- 2nd) Add a derivate like "Rosin Oil" or "Hashish" and add the amount of cannabinoids in percent to it. We then will track the amount of "Hashish" or "Rosin Oil" needed - additional to your other ingredients - for every portion-size and also the amounts of the added cannabinoids!
- Tip to save own products/values:
- Registered users can save, load and share recipes! If you want to add your own products - like the butter from the supermarket you are always using, the infused butter batch including the THC info, your oil - or any other things you are using in several recipes/compositions - no problem at all!
- Simply create a new Recipe/Composition only for your products. This you can name "My Products" or something like that. There you add all the products with their values once with an unique name (like "PRESET INFUSED BUTTER 10%") to not get confused later with other products. All products from there (and all other saved recipes/compositions) will then be loaded at every visit here automatically and you can select them here at the top of the page. Just change the name (and/or the values) then while adding it to the new composition/recipe - the preset not will get overwritten :)

AND NOW: If you open this recipe you will see a table with all ingredients, and if you scroll down a bit you will see the PORTIONS/SERVINGS calculator. If you now want to make Cookies with only 75MG of THC - simply add 75mg to the input and click the button! The calculator show you the weight of dough needed for each of that cookies, as like as the ingredients for each of them! If you now want to make - for example - 500 of this 50MG cookies - simply use the the next calculator to get the total amounts of all needed ingredients, including your Rosin-Oil in grams (or ounces if you prefer) etc. pp.!
AND EVEN MORE: This generator now also allow you to change your active ingredients for the recipe easily! You want to make the same cookies with Hashish instead of Rosin-Oil? Or with distillate? Simply change that one ingredient in the recipe, add the new amounts of Hashish and its THC-Percentage only once for your basic 24-cookie-recipe - and all other calculations are just a press of the button!
